Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support, helping customers navigate personal and small business taxes while building a local client base. This role is non-exempt, onsite in Illinois, with a base hourly pay of $31.00–$34.50, plus benefits, bonuses, and pay-for-performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Must hold active EA/CPA/attorney license, PTIN, and related state licenses.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax preparation software.
• Onsite 20+ hours per week at a TurboTax location; front-facing retail role.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax locally.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and full tax return preparation.
• Grow the local client base and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Assist customers using TurboTax software and leverage marketing resources.
