Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking proactive TurboTax Retail Experts to assist customers in-person at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, delivering tax preparation, advice, and software support while building community relationships.

You will work on-site, non-exempt, at least 20 hours per week in Illinois, with a base hourly pay range of $31.00–$34.50 plus benefits, including a 401(k) with match and other programs to support prosperity in your local market.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license to file taxes.
• PTIN required to file taxes with TurboTax clients.
• Willingness to obtain required state licenses or certificates.
• Minimum 3 years of paid tax return preparation (30+ 1040s).
• Familiarity with Circular 230 and tax rules.
• Willing to work onsite 20+ hours per week (including Sundays).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with local community outreach.
• Experience presenting tax concepts to non-experts.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and represent the brand.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, engaging locals and converting prospects into clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns using TurboTax products.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
