Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as TurboTax Retail Experts at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. This role involves in-person tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support for customers, with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving community engagement.

You will work on-site, serving customers, applying your tax knowledge to maximize refunds, minimize liabilities, and provide clear, personalized guidance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term client relationships in-person and via TurboTax tools.
