Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking energetic TurboTax Retail Experts to join our on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to customers in-person, while growing your local client base and driving loyalty. This non-exempt role is onsite, part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) and focuses on community engagement, accessible tax guidance, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience using

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN as required by law.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform; must work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
• Lead and participate with the support of TurboTax in local marketing, making taxes accessible and approachable.
• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with professionalism and empathy.
