Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Retail Experts at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will work on-site serving in-person customers, providing full-service tax return preparation and tax advice with a focus on client needs.

You’ll grow TurboTax’s client base in the local community, support marketing efforts, and build long-term relationships while adhering to Intuit’s standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be able to work onsite 20 hours per week, Sundays through Saturdays, with hours scaling during peak demand.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Ability to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador and build local presence.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for customers, including complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide planning guidance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and help clients achieve financial goals in a friendly, professional manner.
