Job summary

Belk in South Carolina is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience. You will process inbound truck deliveries, ensure new merchandise is customer-ready, and support floor sets and back-of-house organization.

This hourly role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while providing strong customer service during peak periods.

Qualifications

Provide excellent customer service and help achieve store objectives.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Regularly move around store areas and lift up to 50 lbs.
Communicate effectively and stay informed on promotions.

Responsibilities

Efficiently unload cartons from deliveries, sort by department, process, remove plastic and hang items for sale.
Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, damage processing and RFID tasks for inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities tasks including lighting, housekeeping, and store maintenance.
Support floor sets, product presentations, price changes, and picking/packing customer orders.
Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness, and organize tools and fixtures for efficiency.
Engage customers, assist during peak traffic, and contribute to a positive store culture.
Adhere to asset protection guidelines and safety protocols to minimize risk.
