Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Flex Associate in Charleston, SC to deliver outstanding customer experiences by assisting with merchandise selection, making recommendations, and processing transactions.

The role focuses on driving sales, maintaining store presentation, and supporting store teams to meet objectives, while promoting a friendly environment that fosters customer loyalty. This is an hourly position.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates dedication to customer service and store objectives.
• Excellent communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and contribute to store success.
• Comfortable with technology (smartphones, tablets, Windows).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Regularly move around store areas; lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships.
• Greet and assist customers with personalized service and product recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately and handle inquiries, returns, and concerns.
• Maintain attractive selling areas, signage, and cleanliness through stock replenishment.
