Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking a Store Supervisor in Missouri to partner with the Store Manager to develop associates, deliver consistent customer experiences, and drive growth. You will lead top talent, coach teams, and ensure smooth store operations daily.

The role emphasizes leadership, selling excellence, and adherence to company values while managing shifts, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills, open to feedback, and adaptable.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.
• Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop top talent; act as MOD to address customer, vendor, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and disseminate company directives.
• Set direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback to managers.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, and personalized recommendations.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
• All store positions require physical activity: standing, walking, reaching, lifting.
• Associates should climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, kneel to obtain products.
• Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain safe, clean and engaging experience by adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.
