Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated store area, oversee daily operations, and coach teammates. You will be responsible for opening/closing the store, ensuring friendly customer service, and maintaining merchandise presentation to company standards.

The role requires supervising staff, enforcing loss prevention, and executing Front End procedures, with an emphasis on safe, efficient store operations and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as needed and supervise operations.
• Supervise associates and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Manage Front End operations and coaching of cashiers and associates.
