Job summary

PUMA is seeking a Store Associate in Lancaster, CA. You will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, manage merchandise, and help ensure a safe store environment. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Base compensation ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus bonus and benefits. You will use MS Office and retail software, and participate in payroll and stock control to support store profitability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office and retail software.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently high standards of customer experience in-store.
• Aim to meet or exceed sales, KPIs, and profitability through effective planning and service.
• Oversee payroll control to maintain location profitability while delivering excellent service.
• Communicate and manage merchandise opportunities with store leadership.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise and maintain stock integrity.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working/shopping environment.
