Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Provide leadership and training to store staff; assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, assume full responsibility for store operations.
• Strive to meet and exceed sales, service and operational objectives.
• Oversee POS transactions, including sales, discounts, refunds and loyalty programs.
• Manage inventory control including receiving, pricing and handling damaged merchandise.
• Oversee merchandising, visual presentation, promotions and signage on the sales floor.
• Monitor payroll-related tasks: scheduling and time/attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports; reinforce customer service standards.
• Support loss prevention efforts to protect company assets.
