Shoe Station in Rockford, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, support the General Manager, and drive a customer-first, high-energy environment.

In this full-time role, you will act as a key holder, lead by example, train associates, and help ensure consistent store presentation while meeting sales goals. A minimum of 2 years in retail or customer service is required, with supervisory experience a plus.

Competenze

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.

Mansioni

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with store presentation and merchandising.
• Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation.
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures.
