Job summary

Shoe Station in Rockford, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations, act as a key holder, and lead a customer-first team in a full-time role. You will support the General Manager in reaching sales goals, train associates on standards, delegate tasks, perform cash handling and POS duties, and help with visual presentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
