Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking an Assistant Manager to co-lead retail store teams and co-manage store and donation operations. You will help deliver mission services, ensure customer service excellence, and safeguard donated goods to maximize their value.

The role reports to the General Manager/Retail Store Operations and requires a High School diploma with 3+ years of supervisory experience in retail or production settings; MS Office proficiency is expected. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience supervising production and/or retail operations to meet revenue and efficiency goals.
• Experience in non-profits and human services a strong plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead retail and donation store operations to meet goals and ensure safety and high customer service.
• Establish a culture of safety, ethics and quality across store operations.
• Develop staffing models and scheduling to optimize efficiency and coverage.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, and performance metrics; provide variance analysis and improvement plans.
• Coordinate with HR to administer rewards, recognition, and employee development.
