Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise all areas of the store under the Store Manager. You will lead staffing, training, and daily operations to ensure Ross standards and best practices are met.

The role requires the ability to manage payroll, scheduling, and customer service while maintaining a safe, clean store environment and strong teamwork across associates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store or assistant store manager experience in retail.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate to store associates.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and directions.
• Maintain high quality of customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations in retail contexts.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non-exempt associates and Store operations.
• Assist in scheduling to meet business objectives and payroll controls.
• Lead training and development of associates and adherence to policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and customer-friendly store environment.
