Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking aStore Manager to oversee the daily operation of the store, lead a team of associates, and ensure adherence to company standards. The role includes payroll tasks, scheduling, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.

You will supervise non-exempt staff, drive customer service initiatives, and partner with leadership to optimize performance while upholding Ross policies and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of all non-exempt Associates.
• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
• Assist in the management of and continuous monitoring of actual expenditures to be within budget.
• Ensure scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives and ensure a safe environment.
• Oversee payroll administration including daily punch edits and payroll reporting as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure store cleanliness and organization.
• Represent and support the Ross brand at all times.
