Job summary

Family Dollar in Midwest City, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver customer service, and contribute to team development. You will assist with merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Help supervise and train store associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
• Follow policies and procedures and assist with loss prevention.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits and receipts.
• Protect assets and store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
