Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and organize merchandise from delivery to floor while maintaining seasonal displays.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with responsibilities including opening/closing, payroll and scheduling support, and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to store operations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and develop store associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
