Job summary

Coastal Country is seeking a Store Manager-on-Duty to oversee daily store operations, promote superior customer service, and maximize sales and profitability. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, monitor inventories, and coordinate promotions while ensuring security and cost controls are in place.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you will assume full responsibility for daily operations, including payroll and store performance, while maintaining excellent employee and customer

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to obtain a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate promotions and merchandise displays and signage.
• Recruit, train, and assess staff performance.
• Plan schedules and assign duties.
• Monitor inventory and replenish merchandise.
• Open/close store and manage payroll budget.
• Handle customer complaints and security procedures.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, assume daily operations.
