Job summary

Southern Tide seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the store in achieving performance goals and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will lead staff, coach on sales, product knowledge, and service, while maintaining visual standards and brand integrity across the store.

You will assist with recruitment, scheduling, training, and daily operations, including cash handling and banking. A strong communicator with leadership skills is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Merchandising preferred.
• 4+ years retail experience with at least 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• Solid computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with POS systems a plus.
• Exposure to merchandising and retail visual concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager in executing store strategy to achieve performance goals.
• Lead, coach and develop store staff to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Monitor sales targets and store metrics, providing feedback to management.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and store operations.
