Job summary

Coastal Farm in Woodburn, OR is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to oversee daily operations, promote customer service, and maximize sales and profits through effective merchandising, inventory control, and cost management. You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, monitor security, and step in for the Store Manager when needed, ensuring high standards and smooth store performance.

Forklift and propane duties may be required on occasion, with training provided.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Eagle Browser preferred.
• Experience in multiple store departments preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of operating a POS system preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales promotion activities and merchandise displays.
• Recruit, train, and assess staff performance daily/monthly/annually.
• Plan and prepare work schedules for associates.
• Monitor and order merchandise to replenish stock.
• Ensure compliance with security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries.
• Open and close the store, including security duties.
• Manage payroll budget and fiscal responsibilities.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, assume duties for daily operations.
