Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Scottsdale seeks a Retail Store Manager in Training to lead Oak Store operations. You will drive store performance, manage payroll and expenses, coach teams, and ensure excellent donor/customer service while upholding Goodwill brand standards.

The role requires retail management experience, strong MS Office skills, valid driver's license, and the ability to work across stores as needed. Competitive compensation with performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to help drive donations.
• Monitors product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
• Ensures payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
• Ensures Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Ensures store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
• Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
• Transfers to different stores as needed to meet business needs.
• Ensures Team Members are well-trained and fulfill duties.
