The role involves recruiting, training, evaluating performance, scheduling, monitoring sales and inventory, ensuring cash integrity and safety, and maintaining a clean, secure shopping environment. Strong communication and organization are essential.

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counseling or termination as needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings to reinforce policies.
• Ensures the store is properly staffed and opened/closed as required; averages two openings and two closings per week.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify trends, expenses, shrink, and errors.

• Facilitates staging, stocking and storage of merchandise following company processes.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, pricing and signage.

• Ensures financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Ensures tools and equipment are available to perform tasks.
• Follows Company SOPs, handbook and communications; ensures compliance.
• Completes paperwork and documentation on time.
