Job summary

You will recruit, train and evaluate employees, ensure compliance with labor laws, and drive performance to meet sales targets and profitability. The role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and evaluate staff.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and discipline in compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and company policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate staff meetings and safety policies.
• Open and close the store as required; ensure proper staffing.
