Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire and counsel staff in compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels staff.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Ensures proper store opening/closing and daily staffing coverage.
• Analyzes operating statements for sales, profitability and turn.
• Manages inventory and ordering to meet in-stock targets weekly.
• Maintains layout, pricing, signage and presentation of merchandise.
