Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to labor laws and company policies, ensuring proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Makes recommendations regarding pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates safety meetings.
• Ensures store opening/closing procedures and staffing coverage.
• Evaluates operating statements for trends, expenses and shrink.
• Oversees ordering to meet in-stock targets and reviews planning with team.
• Facilitates stocking and presentation of merchandise following company processes.
• Maintains accurate inventory and cash controls; ensures security procedures.
