Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math.
• Ability to recruit, hire, coach and terminate per policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training, conducts evaluations, and addresses gaps or counseling needs.
• Implements payrate/advancement decisions per policy.
• Communicates performance expectations and coordinates safety and policy meetings.
• Maintains staffing for opening/closing; ensures daily operations meet standards.
• Analyzes sales, profitability, and shrink to identify opportunities.
• Manages ordering and inventory to meet in-stock targets; coordinates replenishment.
• Oversees merchandising, pricing, and signage to support presentation.
• Maintains accurate inventory and cash accountability; follows security practices.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and a safe, clean store.
