Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Concord, NH to lead a team, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will oversee operations, staffing, and training to meet KPI targets while ensuring compliance with SOPs and company programs.

This role requires a strong retail background and proven leadership in developing talent. This position involves managing a diverse team, implementing safety and shrink programs, and acting as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including knowledge of inventory management and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring SOPs and company programs are followed.
• Deliver sales and KPI goals in line with annual objectives and budget.
• Lead the execution of the customer brand promises.
• Implement shrink and safety programs to meet targets.
• Set, prioritize and communicate goals using company tools; provide team and customer guidance.
• Staff the store with qualified team members: hire, train, coach, and manage performance; develop talent for advancement.
• Model positive behavior and uphold the organization's vision and values.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain cross-training across store departments, including framing selling and production.
