Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Manager for our Concord, NH location. This role focuses on leading the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving sales and KPI targets.

You will plan workloads, enforce SOPs, and drive brand promises across all store operations. You will hire, train, and coach Team Members, manage performance, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required in a public retail setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience, including inventory management, merchandising and customer service excellence.
• 2+ years directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the store, including SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and drive results.
• Deliver sales and KPI targets in line with annual objectives and manage team to achieve role KPIs.
• Lead execution of customer brand promises and shrink/safety programs.
• Plan workload activities and use company tools to communicate goals and coach staff.
• Staff the store with qualified team members: hiring, training, performance management, and development.
