Job summary

Music & Arts in West Hartford, CT is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead daily sales and operations while delivering excellent customer service.

You will coach the sales team, manage payroll and staffing, ensure product availability and proper displays, and drive institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts. You will also promote the Music & Arts lesson program and support teachers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Sales team by coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or any information needed in order to help and meet their sales objectives.
• Stay current on financial data, inventory, and other statistics.
• Ensure all products in the store are available for purchase and displayed appropriately.
• Oversee payroll, recruiting, hiring and training of store employees.
• Execute operational tasks related to institutional sales and rental services for assigned accounts.
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program and assist teachers.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer.
• Additional duties as assigned.
