Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Store Manager in Training for the Tempe location. You will lead store operations, production, and staff performance to drive donations and sales while upholding Goodwill brand standards.

You will coordinate with district leadership, manage budgets, monitor inventory, and ensure excellent customer service. A strong focus on training, development, and community engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid drivers’ license and clean MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve goals for income, revenue and production.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to drive donations and plans.
• Monitors product levels daily to meet sales targets and budgets.
• Manages payroll and operating costs to budget.
• Ensures excellent customer service for donors and customers.
• Maintains clean, well-kept stores reflecting the Goodwill brand.
