Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Retail Store Manager in Training at the 91st Ave Store in Peoria, AZ. This role leads store operations, supervises the Assistant Store Manager, Production Team and Donation Attendants, and drives performance to meet goals.

You will receive a starting annual pay of $70,000 with a monthly bonus after training and a comprehensive benefits package through GCNA.

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in retail management, preferably in thrift
• One-year customer service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve goals for operating income and production
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager to implement strategic donations plans
• Monitors product levels daily to meet sales targets and budget
• Manages payroll and operating costs to budget
• Ensures excellent customer service to donors and customers
• Maintains store cleanliness and reflects the Goodwill brand
• Partners with community businesses to promote Goodwill mission
• Leads and develops Team Members and ensures training is completed
