The MIT program trains candidates for a Store Manager position within 3–6 months and may require relocation to a new store or group of stores.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; a business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience required in a customer focused environment; experience in the fashion industry preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving and setting goals and executing company direction.
• Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
• Proven ability to lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Customer Obsession: drive a customer-focused store environment.
• Lead by example through fashion knowledge and associate coaching.
• Drive sales by analyzing performance and adjusting plans to meet goals.
• Oversee store team performance and store payroll hours.
• Direct visual and promotional execution to maximize short- and long-term sales.
• Prepare schedules based on business needs and traffic patterns.
• Coach and mentor team; develop successors and talent pools.
