Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the sales floor, drive sales goals, and develop a high-performing team. You will oversee daily operations, inventories, and customer service while upholding Goodwill brand standards.

You will mentor team members, manage staffing and performance, and implement loss prevention and safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily store operations to meet profit, revenue, and productivity goals.
• Directs Sales Associates and leads a high-performing team.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and reports on stock levels.
• Ensures customer and donor interactions reflect Goodwill standards.
• De-escalates customer issues and coordinates with leadership as needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness and ensures brand standards across locations.
