Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Management Trainee to learn leadership and hands-on store operations across merchandise categories. You will work alongside store leadership to develop skills in customer service, inventory, and daily operations.

You will coach team members, assist with recruiting and development, and help drive store performance while following asset protection and cash-handling procedures. This entry role leads toward management opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise; firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and help create a customer-focused environment.
• Learn and support all aspects of daily store operations.
• Assist with coaching, training, and developing team members.
• Support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Open and close the store while following asset protection and cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Help drive store performance by supporting sales, loan, and profitability goals.
• Learn how to analyze business results and support operational decision-making.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
• Complete management training and development assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
