Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and retail operations of store and team members.
• Collaborate with district and store managers on recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members.
• Train new team members and handle performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Assist in the hiring process by recruiting, scheduling and interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
• Support store manager and assistant management to ensure safety compliance and staff training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager; may have weekly customer calls.
• Support store operations including maintenance of delivery fleet and payroll entries.
• Monitor KPIs, review price matches and negotiate discounts as appropriate; review P&L with store manager.
