Job summary

Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As an Assistant General Manager, you will lead a store team, coach sales specialists, and drive sales targets, customer experience, and merchandising.

You will own the store's daily sales strategy and balance leadership with daily operational tasks. You will develop talent, hire, train, and motivate the team while delivering on performance metrics, ensuring a high standard of in-store experience for customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Talent Management — Selecting, hiring, and developing the best talent.
• Providing your team with training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Identifying any selling skill gaps and implementing development plans to hit sales targets.
• Take personal ownership of your own sales performance and your team's results.
• Oversee store operations, reporting financial and sales data, and ensure store uptime.
• Complete opening and closing activities and maintain daily scorecards.
• Lead the team on merchandising changes and daily planning to reach targets.
