Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Oklahoma City seeks a Lead to drive in-store brand standards and coach teammates. Working under the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will ensure customers receive outstanding service and that daily operations run smoothly.

You will plan schedules, delegate tasks, hire and onboard new teammates, and model a people‑first culture. The role requires empathy, resilience, and a collaborative mindset to help the store meet its goals.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer‑focused experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladders or platforms.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver brand standards and customer service.
• Provide direction to teammates and assist with staffing and training.
• Coach and develop teammates; observe interviews and store tours.
• Plan 30‑day outlook with leadership to execute daily tasks and events.
• Uphold safety, loss prevention, and merchandising standards.
