Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Store Leader to drive growth and deliver exceptional athlete experiences across our store. You will collaborate with the Store Manager on annual plans, forecast demand, and ensure execution of key programs.

You will directly manage Supervisors and develop a high-performing, inclusive team while upholding standards and policies. Responsibilities include staffing, payroll oversight, performance reviews, and driving customer service excellence to meet budget goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• 1-3 years of retail management experience (or customer-focused experience).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Store Manager to develop and execute full-year business growth plans, including forecasting and planning 90+ days out.
• Identifies opportunities in the store and validates key programs such as BOPIS and ship-from-store.
• Directly manages a team of Captains (Supervisors) and coaches the broader store team to foster a high-performing, inclusive environment.
• Leads performance management, including development, reviews, and promotions for Supervisors, while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Oversees payroll, staffing, and scheduling to align with budget goals and store traffic trends.
