Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Store Lead to execute brand standards and elevate the teammate experience. You will partner with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to guide a department, deliver top-notch service, and develop teammates.

Success comes from leading by example, fostering an inclusive environment, and coaching the team on daily tasks, plans, and store events while upholding safety and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push/pull and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking.
• Comfort with heights when using ladder or lifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver brand standards and exceptional customer service.
• Hire, train, and coach teammates; conduct on-site interviews and tours.
• Plan and execute daily tasks, game plans, and store events with leadership.
• Coach teammates and share the why behind tasks and processes.
• Maintain safety, loss prevention and merchandising standards across the store.
