Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Ability to learn and perform point-of-sale functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of inventory and merchandising practices.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking per manager direction.
• Assist in inventory management and audits.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open and close the store; manage deposits and cash controls.
• Operate store in the store manager's absence; review operating statements.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
