Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking a Retail Store Manager to drive operations at a store location and lead Assistant Store Managers, Production Team, and Donation Attendants. You will manage payroll, inventory, donations, and customer service to meet daily and yearly goals.

Strong leadership and store experience are required. This role involves cross-store coordination, community partnerships, and a focus on delivering the Goodwill mission through effective team management and operational

Qualifications

• Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
• One-year customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve income, revenue, and production goals.
• Coordinates with Retail District Manager on strategic plans to drive donations.
• Monitors product levels to meet sales targets and budget.
• Manages payroll costs and operating costs within budget.
• Ensures excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintains clean, well-kept stores reflecting the Goodwill brand.
