Job summary

Goodwill of Monocacy Valley is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager in Middletown, MD to oversee sales-floor operations, lead a team of Retail Sales Associates, and drive daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. You will manage staffing, coaching, and customer service while upholding Goodwill brand standards.

The role requires at least one year of retail management and customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• One-year work experience in Retail Management, preferred
• One-year customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations to achieve goals for profit, revenue, and production.
• Direct and develop retail sales associates on the sales floor.
• Maintain store appearance and reflect the Goodwill brand.
• Provide mentoring, training, and coaching to team members.
• Ensure policies on Security, Health and Safety are followed and updated as needed.
