Job summary

Buckle in Texas is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive sales. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train, and motivate Teammates, and to lead the store in the manager's absence.

This role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with responsibilities expanding in leadership and operations while upholding Buckle’s standards in customer service, merchandising, and daily store

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience.
Ability to recruit and train Teammates; leadership potential.
Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
Strong customer service and sales skills; guest-focused.
Knowledge of Buckle policies, loss prevention, and store procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
Recruit and train Teammates; support Store Manager in leadership tasks.
Lead merchandise display, pricing, and store refreshes per brand standards.
Assist in store operations including cashiering, register procedures, and safety.
Develop guest relationships and grow client-based sales.
Support and model Buckle’s sales presentation and customer service standards.
