Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will manage the store during the manager’s absence and lead the team to service customers.

The position requires certification in Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Assist the store manager in staffing during peak hours and in setting team goals.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phones are answered per company policy and handle in-store operations efficiently.
• Coordinate buy online/ship to store and transfers, and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Oversee returns, refunds, and proper invoicing of merchandise.
• Ensure compliance with policies, schedules, and security protocols.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and maintain overall store appearance and safety.
