Job summary

IT’SUGAR is seeking a fun and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our Cannery Row store in California. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, and maintain visual standards to ensure a top-notch in-store experience.

You will recruit, onboard, train, and coach staff, manage staffing and discipline, and promote the brand’s energetic culture. A strong background in retail management and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily sales and back-of-house operations and ensures sales objectives are met.
• Evaluates daily operations and implements improvements for productivity and profitability.
• Coaches staff to adhere to core values and brand behaviors.
• Makes staffing decisions including hiring, training, promotion, discipline, and termination.
• Fosters a productive work environment through coaching and engagement of Sales Associates.
• Leads customer engagement following the SUGARTAINMENT model.
• Maintains product knowledge proficiency.
• Ensures safety and adherence to guidelines.
