IT’SUGAR in Monterey, CA seeks a dynamic Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, sales, and visual presentation in support of the brand’s playful and energetic environment.

You will lead staffing, coaching, and training while maintaining high standards for customer engagement, inventory control, and store compliance. A passion for delivering joyful guest experiences is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sales and back-of-house operations; ensure sales objectives are met.
• Evaluate operations and recommend actions to improve productivity and profitability.
• Coach and develop Associates; uphold core values and performance standards.
• Make staffing decisions including hiring, training, task assignment, promotion and discipline.
• Maintain store budget, signage, inventory accuracy and visual standards.
• Lead customer engagement and follow brand selling programs.
