Job summary

Sally Beauty in Renton is seeking an Assistant Manager to hire, develop and lead store associates, ensuring top customer experiences and strict brand standards. You will support the Store Manager and stand in when needed to keep daily operations on track.

You will supervise and train teams, recruit when required, drive sales and KPIs through omni-channel strategies, manage inventory and payroll hours, and uphold safety, policies and company directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and supports the direction & planning of associates' daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty in assigned stores.
• Engages, trains and develops their teams to achieve positive results and builds strong relationships with Store Manager peers.
• Ensures execution of all company processes through training, management, analysis and continuous improvement.
• Store Managers effectively manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing and manage payroll hours to the needs of the business.
