Job summary

Sally Beauty is seeking an Assistant Manager to hire, develop and lead store associates while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining brand standards. You will support the Store Manager and assume primary duties in their absence.

Key responsibilities include driving KPIs and financial targets through effective planning, team leadership, and omni-channel execution, while managing operations, inventory, payroll and safety compliance across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, developing and leading store associates to deliver an exceptional client experience and maintain brand standards.
• Develop strategies to achieve KPIs and financial targets through business analysis and action planning.
• Support the Store Manager and operate across brand, people and operations with emphasis on omni-channel fulfillment and inventory management.
• Ensure store safety, assets protection and compliance with company policies.

Education
