Job summary

Sally Beauty seeks an Assistant Manager to lead store associates, drive sales, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to hire, train and develop the team while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

You will oversee daily operations, merchandising, scheduling, inventory accuracy and omni-channel initiatives, with a focus on customer service and team engagement to achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervises and guides associates toward an exceptional client experience and KPI targets.
• 30% People: Recruits, trains and develops the team; coaches and counsels when needed.
• 30% Operations: Oversees processes, inventory, omni-channel fulfillment and payroll scheduling.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensures a safe store, assets protection and proper reporting.
